Available daily. This is a 2 hour boat charter available from Plettenbergbay, Hermanus, Gansbaai and Knysna. After the safety briefing and launch (you should remain dry!) we explore the local area by boat in search of whale and dolphin activity. Our goal is to have an un-intrusive close encounter with one of the worlds largest mammals. The vessel is officially licensed to conduct close encounters and may legally approach whales to within 50 meters. It is then up to the whales if the wish to investigate you and the boat more closely. Often their natural curiosity gets the better of them providing an up close and personal encounter never to be forgotten. Open to all ages (R300 for under 12 yr's). Waterproofs and life jackets supplied. Refreshments included.
