Whale watching flights along the Durban south coast between June and December should reveal the spectacular migration of humpback whales. During the peak of the migration, literally hundreds of whales are passing daily on their way either to or from the warmer waters of Mozambique where they seasonally calve and mate.

The Wildcoast also sees the humpback whale migration and adventurers hoping to catch the sardine run may also get to fly with the Microlight spotters in search of whales and dolphins and sardine run action !
