The city of Cape Town is arrival and departure point for thousands of visitors each year with direct flights from most European capitals. Cape Town's geographical position is hard to beat. In the shadow of the Table Mountain range - a national monument and park - the city and its suburbs cling to the coastline around the Cape Peninsula, with frontage on both the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. The dive sites around Cape Town are as vibrant and varied as it's peoples and cultures. Kelp forests give way to the deeper reef systems with caves, gullies and overhangs, bejeweled with hard and soft cold water corals. The waters of the Cape also conceal many spectacular wreck sites and don't forget the cage diving opportunities in the nearby towns of Gansbaai and Kleinbaai.
